Cuatro miradas fotográficas de la cotidianidad y el paisaje en el desierto de la Tatacoa

"The collective "Fotograma" composed by Luciano Aníbal López Torres, Carlo Cattaneo Quintero, Juan Sebastián Castillo Villarraga and Kevin Oswaldo Molano Alarcón made a commitment of collaborative creation, where photographic images as memory and recording devices allow to inventory and document places of the Colombian geography. However, for the purpose of this book they rejected this exercise, since they conceive photography not only for technical process, but also reflects through the images on the politics of the space, daily practices and ancestral knowledge, approaching dimensions that have to do with otherness and cultural identity. Likewise, it evidences the desert mestizajes and the ways of subsistence that from an informal economy are configured in the department of Huila. Despite the paradoxical uses and disuse of technology in these times, images continue to have an important place in the world, because they are presentations and efforts of the human being to interpret and understand their existence, and where for this project, in particular, the Mediation of the photographic device allows the construction of visual narratives that are organized from an ethnographic work."--Verso Cover.
