After Galen cures Paulinus, the Roman general commands him to Rome to serve as his personal physician. Galen follows his master on to the land of Britannia, where Paulinus plans to obliterate the last of the Druid-led rebellion by the native people. Far from his native Greece, Galen encounters the men who cured him as a child.

Galen, a staunch atheist, had a mystical experience as a young boy. As Galen lay dying, three strangers visited him and his father. The mysterious, Druid men were Armaigen and Tiernan and their Jewish friend, Yeshua (Jesus). These healers cured the young boy and told his father, “Your son, Aelius Galenus, will save the earth one day.”

As Galen struggles with this heavy destiny, the three strangers continue to awaken the spirits of the earth in Britannia. Tiernan leads the Druids and Britons in the rebellion against the Romans as Yeshua confronts the ramifications of his own God-given destiny.
