The title refers to the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, on which the story is centered. The cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris, on the Ile de la Cite in the river Seine, is one of the jewels of the French capital and one of Europe's masterpieces of Gothic architecture. This touching loving story shows us the true love from one's heart can never be replaced by anything in the world.
