This is an autobiograhy. Hosh Sarhadi, born Das Ram Madan on 18 October 1928 at Kot Jaaee in Dera Ismail District, Pakistan, is a prominent Urdu poet of Rajasthan, India. He is a prolific ghazal writer; many popular ghazals written by him have been put to music. Presently there exist Ten published coolections of his ghazals and nazms- Deep chinaron ke (1983), Talash e mahvar (1989), Hosh ka safar (1993), Khushboo ka safar (2001), Hosh numa (1999), Lafz bane tasveer (2004), Judaa parvaz (2006), Dil ne ik mehfil sajai (2010), Ugtaa suraj (2010) and Badalte zaviye. He is a recipient of the Rajasthan Urdu Akademi Award and the Munshi Prem Chand Award instituted by All India Muslim Mathada Council.
