This is a bibliographic guide that catalogues and organizes publications on human rights in North Korea (DPRK). It documents the breadth of existing reporting and research produced over decades. While not exhaustive, the volume seeks to be as comprehensive as possible, arranging English-language materials into eight chapters that cover reports by the United Nations, governments, and civil society, as well as books, expert-recommended policy works, and other relevant resources. By consolidating these references in a single source, the guide offers policymakers, researchers, and other interested readers a clearer overview of the accumulated documentation on human rights conditions in North Korea.
