About
Robert Dinwiddie (1693-1770) was born in Germiston, Scotland, son of Robert Dinwiddie and Elizabeth Cumming. He married Rebecca Affleck and served the British government in Bermuda and later as Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. He later died in Clifton, England.
