This is one of the best books of Sotim ulughzoda. The book describe the life of one province which is called Navabad. The main character of the book is Shodigul, a girl from that province. It describes a life of a village girl who has a passion of working and building a new village. She is a youth chief of that province. The book describes her life as a young lady who faces so many challenges and obstacles as a youth chief because she is surrounded with all narrow minded people who believe woman should stay at home and who think woman place is kitchen. Although she was engaged with a silly lazy man whom her parents chose for her she falls in love with a man who comes to work in Navabod. They will get into their romantic relationship without thinking of gossip which later will put them in trouble. The book has beautiful ending. This book shows the life of Tajik people during beginning of Soviet Union. It shows how women work and fight for their independence. It also shows the passion and pure love of Tajik youth.
