The Celebrated Miss Neville

FALLING in love was more painful than a bad review! Catherine Neville had become a reluctant celebrity. Under a nom de plume, she had published a book of poetry that had so pleased the ton that they vied for her attention. A second volume had just been published and everyone eagerly awaited the critics' response. Sir Rowan Heath, respected and feared political essayist, found himself in the unique position of reviewing a book of poetry. Having little use for women and their “little hobbies”, and pre-occupied with rushing off to a house party, Sir Rowan wrote a scathing critique for a friend’s magazine, without even bothering to read Catherine’s work.
