About
This was my original attempt at a comprehensive history of The Blankman Family which had its origins in North Holland, ca. 1565. I have produced four updates to this effort and the latest still in my computer has information about over 5,600 individuals, including spouses, all descended from the first Pieter Blanckman (later Blankman) who lived in Oude Sluis, de Zijpe, North Holland, in 1565. An analysis of my Y-Chromosome indicates that descendants bearing this name belong to Y-Haplogroup N1c1. I hope to publish this updated work in some form in the next couple of years.
