About
The authors stated that they were privileged to be chosen to prepare a historical book about the City of Boaz, Alabama. The book was authorized by the Boaz City Council on March 27, 1995. The occasion for the book was the centennial of the incorporation of the city, which was celebrated throughout 1997. The territory was one of the last spots in Alabama to be heavily peopled. The people have worked hard and fast to create a good way of life in a good town. Their heritage is worthy of examination and appreciation.
