About
Once upon a time... right before her sixteenth birthday Fey Temingway inadvertently sees her twin brother, Cael, in the reflection of her bedroom mirror. Of course, she reassures herself, stranger things have happened. A butterfly comes out of a painting and Enid, a Mage who can shoot sparks from her hands, appears in her bedroom to tell Fey that she will be helped into the world of the faeries before her guardians can get in. And that there is a prophecy that says so. Soon, Fey begins a new life equipped with royal professors and the preparations for her presentation to the faerie city-states. Alongside her own story are the stories of Cael, Janus, Enid, the Temingways, and Fey's suitors, all of whom have begun to play their parts in the prophecy to find their own destiny.
