About
Book gives access to previously unseen works by renowned contemporary artists in Chile from 1970-2008 and is structured in two parts: the first corresponds to the research done for the curatorial script for the homonymous exhibition held in 2008 in the Cubo . The second part documents the retrospective exhibition of 8 contemporary Chilean artists who used typographic, iconographic and object resources to create a collection of art pieces that expressed the relationship between words, signs, language and images. The artists were: Guillermo Deisler, Ana Maria Briede, Martin Gubbins, Sybil Brintrup, Martin Bakero, Juan Luis Martinez, Gonzalo Millán and Cecilia Vicuña.
