Jeff Walker & Mr. B: a cautionary tale

Jeff Walker thought he made the deal of a lifetime. But the dark stranger, Mr. B, added some fine print to the contract that Jeff hadn't bargained for. This cautionary tale is a re-telling of Washington Irving's short story, "The Devil and Tom Walker". Both stories begin in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, home to the Jersey Devil who lies in wait for vulnerable and greedy souls.

This re-telling is a black comedy fable, set in the early 2000's. It follows events in the life of an auto mechanic, Jeff Walker, after he stumbles upon a strange, dark figure by his favorite fishing pond. He soon learns that all that glitters comes with a price, but he's determined to enjoy himself on the road to Hell as much as possible.
