About
With millions made from the sale of one of their diamonds, Ralph Beaumont and his fiance, Laura Connelly, succumb to the urge to help refugees from the embattled land of Syria. Laura works as a nurse at the Tent City in Turkey near Aleppo on the borders of the two countries. Ralph joins the rebels with a leader named, Akbar, against Bashar Assad in Syria. With the means and a strategy of his own, Ralph and Akbar's men wreck two platoons of Russian tanks and with the aid of his robotic Butterfly are able to break into Assad's high security prison and release thousands of rebels held for treason. But when Ralph and Laura learn of the rebels being equally brutal with the execution of Assad's men taken as prisoners, Ralph is disheartened and decides to leave Syria.Assad, however wants Ralph and Laura captured and returned to Syria for the damage they have caused to his regime. With Akbar's help they flee to France, only to be followed through the streets of Paris and the beaches of Nice by a hired assassin.
