After witnessing a mass response to God’s Word among the Manjúi people, Bible teachers Pete and Leah Humphreys struggled to figure out what went wrong. They had presented the Gospel clearly and accurately, but the Manjúis still held tightly to their animistic beliefs, all beneath a thin veneer of Christianity.
