The Hum

When Lee Bennett first notices the distant droning noise, he attributes it to the jet engines over at the nearby airpark. Then he and his wife move to a small town forty-five miles away—and he can still hear it. He soon learns he is only one of thousands of people around the world who have detected "the Hum." He begins to observe other things as well: something is killing the animals, and people are behaving oddly. As a deadly sickness begins to plague the residents, he must find a way to halt the far-reaching events before it is too late.
