This exploratory study is my approach to examining power and its relationship to the weak in our society. This loosely structured discussion is designed to stimulate and challenge the reader to view the fascinating and sometimes frustrating dynamic world of power within the framework of system’s thinking. With any luck the information put forth will add to the greater discussion and help the leader-manager and follower accomplish whatever goals and objectives they wish to attain. In addition any characterizations, questions, or hypothesis developed as a result of this journey will, hopefully, encourage the reader to reexamine their own definitions and explore how they use or perhaps misuse personal power when dealing with others.
