Sein. Antlitz. Körper

Does the white cube take away the sociopolitical relevance of art and does art given back such relevance in churches? These are questions that the Berlin-based curator, author, and art dealer Alexander Ochs addressed in the thirteen-part series of exhibitions 'Sein.Antlitz.Körper. Kirchen öffnen sich der Kunst'. Nine churches, one synagogue, and one city square each in Berlin, Jerusalem, and Eisenach an der Wartburg.
