In addition to being an author, Michael McDonald is an ordained minister and a licensed professional counselor in private practice with his wife and partner Rebecca. Besides counseling people who have both mental health and substance abuse problems, Michael and Rebecca present creative Christian programs using magical illusions, clowning, and ventriloquism. In God Is More Than a Good Idea, Michael describes how to allow God to be more than a rational belief in your life.
