BOOK SUMMARY As a teenager, Cassidy Holland had always prayed for a better life. Her troubled past had made her lose all her faith in men. She’d promised herself that she would never get close to another man but all that changed when she met Dominick Desoto. She thought she’d finally found “the one” until she came home to find another woman in her house. Feeling betrayed and all alone, she turned to the one person who’d always been there for her, her childhood friend, David. But as Cassidy begin to spend more time with him, she realized that for David, the line between lovers and friends had blurred.
