About
My first book, The Butterfly Effect, is aimed primarily at mothers, helping them to navigate their daughters' often challenging adolescent years. Yet many of the parents who buy the book tell me they are buying it for their daughters to read, too. Some even ask me to autograph a copy for their daughter. I also get many emails from girls saying that they love The Butterfly Effect but hope I will write something specifically for them. The Butterfly Effect For Girls will be that book. The Butterfly Effect For Girls will be a reworking of the original version. It will still have the messages at the heart of The Butterfly Effect but this time it will address girls directly. There will be additional interactive exercises, tailored specifically to girls. There will be less emphasis on background research and statistics, and more emphasis on engaging girls on an emotional level. The layout will be changed to be visually appealing to girls and will include spaces for them to express their thoughts and feelings. Chapters: 1. Introducing the Butterfly Effect 2.
