First edition, entirely fictitious. Sabbadini, (Le Scoperte dei codici Latini e Greci ne' secoli xiv; edizione anastatica con nuove aggiunte e correzioni dell'autore, a cura di Eugenio Garin. Florence, 1967, vol. I, p. 176) describes the letters as ‘di un’ingenuità e di una puerilità fenomenale.’
