About
Short & Sassy is a feminist perzine by Yuko Weiner wherein she asks – what does feminism mean? Is feminism man-hating, what’s the use of feminism? Its pages alternate between poems on the self and short essays on Japanese feminism, the Global Gender Gap Report, the origins of her name and having short hair, screenshots of tweets from UN_Women, and illustrations of iconic women. Each written piece is followed by a Japanese translation. The cover is white with red hearts peppered all over the page and an illustration of a woman stretching her arm out.
