No, these were the conditions in the American Southwest more than a thousand years ago. Both the Hisatsinom (Anasazi) and Toltec cultures teetered on the brink of disintegration. One strong young Hisatsinom woman comes forth to aid her people. Kaiya is inspired by her mentor, as wise and respected shaman. But trouble is brewing in the South.
