Meaningful Math

This Meaningful Math edition accommodates the standard course sequence of Algebra I - Geometry - Algebra 2. It also fully addresses the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. Each unit in this program has a central problem or theme and focuses on several major mathematical ideas. A Brief Meaningful Math Sampler provides examples of some of these central problems. As you read the unit descriptions, you will see that the problems involve a variety of contexts. And as you work through the activities, you will come to understand that each unit also involves a variety of mathematical ideas. Supplemental problems at the end of each unit provide opportunities for you to strengthen your understanding and to explore new ideas related to the unit. -- Note to students.
