About
This FEIS addresses the proposed resource management plan amendment and the impacts of that plan for managing habitat for special status species in portions of Chaves, Eddy, Lea and Roosevelt Counties, New Mexico. This document presents the proposed plan for managing public lands and resources within the planning area. The proposed plan amendment is a refinement of the preferred alternative...presented in the Draft RMPA/EIS published in October 2006. When the Special Status Species RMPA is completed, it will amend the 1988 Carlsbad Resource Management Plan and the 1997 Roswell resource Management Plan.
