About
St. John's Lodge No. 20 on the Grand Registry of Canada (Ontario Freemasons) is one of only two Ontario Masonic lodges working a North American variant of the Ancient York form of the ritual, the other lodges using a variant of the English Emulation ritual. The story of St. John's transfer from the Grand Lodge of Ireland to the Grand Lodge of Canada in Ontario is an interesting story, especially with respect to the rivalry which later arose with the lodge revived under the original Irish Warrant or Charter, St. John's Lodge No. 209 Irish Registry. Both lodges are now under the Grand Lodge of Canada in Ontario, and enjoy cordial fraternal relations. Both lodges are in London, Ontario.
