About
The "After-Party" is a book written about two women Valerie and April, who settled for immediate gratification in their romantic relationships even though, they both knew they might be headed for trouble. It is about Valerie who picked the first popular guy she met and then rushed into marriage. Then there was April who only dated men with large bank accounts and who were popular around town. This story is about the emotional pain that these women endured to hold onto these particular relationships. In this book, you will read about how these women both lived different lifestyles; one was a single mother of two, while the other was a single attractive aggressive woman. Yet, they both had relationships with certain kind of men in order to boost their self-esteem. This book addresses how they compromised their integrity and even their safety at times. In the end they learned that sometimes the After-Party is much better than the dance it self!
