A Ghost for Gloucester

It is a freezing late November night in 1955. Howard Drake is hurrying back to the warmth of his home through the narrow, dimly lit lanes and past the majestic Cathedral of the historic City of Gloucester. He can hardly believe his eyes when, through the dense swirling fog that has swallowed up the tall towers and sharp steeples, he encounters a terrifying apparition of the long dead, disgraced nobleman Sir Philip Batten. When the morning arrives, Howard tries to convince himself that what he saw was a just a product of his over active imagination, that and his reliance on alcohol to numb his painful wartime memories. Unable to forget the experience, Howard sets off on a journey of painstaking research into the events, still shrouded in mystery, that lead to the death of Sir Philip way back in the year 1670. A journey that leads to the discovery of an ancient skeleton buried in an unmarked grave. Plagued by the paranormal forces he has unleashed and by an evil spirit that is trying to put an end to his interference, Howard refuses to give in. Can he finally lay the ghost to rest, or will the powers of darkness overwhelm him?
