About
This family history book describes the journey of family scout William Thew III from his residence in Lincolnshire, England to Marion County, Ohio, USA, where he made a new life. He boarded the ship Favorite in Liverpool and arrived in New York City on 10 December 1822. The earliest Thew relative is William Thew I, born about 1733 in Hannah cum Hagnaby in Lincolnshire. He is the author's 5-greats grandfather. William Thew III was a successful sheep farmer and humanitarian, looking after many relatives and friends.
