Kodiak management area harvest strategy for the 2013 commercial salmon fishery

Specifics on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game's management of the commercial salmon fisheries in the Kodiak Management Area (KMA), which is designed to promote maximum sustained yield for future KMA salmon returns by achieving salmon escapement goals and providing opportunity to harvest salmon in excess of those goals. In addition, the department's plan will attempt to provide for orderly fisheries while maximizing harvest opportunities on the highest quality salmon.
