About
As part of the 'Gastspiel' series, the Edwin Scharff Museum invited contemporary artists to select sculptures, paintings and drawings by the sculptor Edwin Scharff, to rearrange them in different ways and to link them to their own art. Vera Lossau, one of the first artists to be given this opportunity, put on a comprehensive exhibition in Neu-Ulm, where Edwin Scharff was born in 1887. Lossau and Scharff may seem strange artistic bedfellows, but, with Lossau continuously seeking to include references to art history in her works, they complement each other very well in the museum.
