About
This study consists of two files of data derived from the Conflict and Peace Data Bank. These are daily aggregations of dyadic international and domestic events from approximately 135 countries. These files of daily events replace the monthly aggregation files formerly distributed under this study number. Both files contain 20 variables recording action, target, date, total conflict and cooperation, and amount of conflict and cooperation in the following categories: symbolic, economic, military, cultural, physical, human, and political. The data were obtained from coding 70 international sources.
