Insults are by nature rancorous and in modern times abetted by TV, talk radio, the Internet, blogs and email. This book reflects all of that while also entertaining and informing. Tracing centuries of disparagement and deprecation, the book is nevertheless up-to-date and lays bare the weaknesses of a representative selection of persons in power in various fields.
