조선 태종의 둘째아들 효령대군孝寧大君 이보(李補, 1396-1486)의 사적을 모은 자료이다. ｢대군제영시大君題詠詩｣․｢자설字說｣․｢원파기源派記｣․｢희우정기喜雨亭記｣ 등 잡문 49편이 수록되어 있다. 이중 ｢원파기｣는 전주이씨의 계보를 기록한 것으로, 전주이씨의 시조는 신라시대의 사공한司空翰이며, 중조中祖는 효령대군으로 삼고 있다. 1929년 송규헌宋奎憲이 쓴 중간서문과 갑진년에 쓴 이조영李祖榮과 이원달李源達 등의 발문이 실려 있다. 또 책3은 속집으로 기사년에 쓴 이광의李光儀의 발문이 실려 있다.
