About
Chiefly the diaries of Landon Carter. He was born 18 Aug 1710 to Robert "King" Carter and Elizabeth Landon Willis. He married first Elizabeth Wormeley in 1732. She was the daughter of John Wormeley. She was born in 1714 and died Jan 1740. They were the parents of four children. He married second Maria Byrd in 1742. She was the daughter of Councilor WIlliam Byrd II. She was born in 1727 and died in 1744. They were the parents of two children. He married third Elizabeth Beale in 1746. She was the daughter of Thomas Beale. She died in the mid 1750's. They were the parents of two children. He died 22 Dec 1778 and was survived by seven children.
