De Spaanse kunstenares Lola Lasurt (1983) begeeft zich in de sporen van Emile Verhaeren en Dario de Regoyos, die in 1888 een reis maakten doorheen de landelijke gebieden van Spanje. Hun reisverslag werd in 1898 uitgegeven als 'España negra'. Lasurt vertolkte haar indrukken in een hele reeks zwart-wit beelden: olieverfschilderijen op zinken platen en stills van super-8 films. Haar werken worden in dialoog gebracht met deze van Dario de Regoyos.00Voor de gelegenheid werd er een prachtig kunstenaarsboek van Lola Lasurt uitgegeven met als titel: 'Duelo por la España negra'.00Exhibition: Emile Verhaeren Museum, Sint-Amands, Belgium (12.09. - 28.11.2021).
