About
A Short History of Chinese Philosophy is the result of a collaboration between two distinguished scholars of Chinese philosophy, Fung Yu-lan and Derk Bodde, to adapt to Dr. Fung's monumental two-volume History of Chinese Philosophy for the Western reader. In addition, to the more commonly known school of Confucianism and Taoism, Dr. Fung accounts for the Mohist School, the Yin-Yang School, the Legalist School, Neo-Taoism, Neo-Confucianism, and the introduction of Western philosophy. Special attention is devoted to Chinese political philosophy and recent Chinese thought.
