About
This book was written by my grandfather, Arthur A Dietz, in 1914. It documents the true story of the adventures, and misadventures, connected to his quest for gold during the Alaskan gold rush. He and the party of gold seekers who set out together, were not prepared for the hardships awaiting them. For over two years my grandmother was uncertain if Arthur was still alive. Many of the men perished. This is their story.
