About
From the back page of the book (1974 edition): 'A note about the writer - born 1940. English. Lived abroad for a time, in Cyprus, 1961-1964. Now lives in Birmingham. Has always been active among poets in the city, and has had work published by various mags. She has read on local BBC radio, and has appeared on BBC2 TV. She is also a writer of short stories. This is her first pamphlet. quote: 'The poems in this little pamphlet have no central theme, due to the tedium of writing on one subject only. I enjoyed writing them - I hope that the reader will derive at least some of that enjoyment.' '
