Full details of regional variations are included, and the recordings feature the full repertoire of calls and songs where available. Volume 1 covers the Atlantic rain forest, Cerrado, Caatinga, Pantanal, the Southern Savannahs and the coasts of Brazil. A planned volume 2 will cover the Amazon Forest, the savannas north of it and most seabirds.
