Thüringen-Index

Reproduces a collection of photographs from the Thuringian Federal Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments documenting Thuringian historical monuments and works of art. The main part of the collection consists of photographs depicting the monuments from inside and out, showing their artistic furnishings and decoration. Among these are about 26,500 glass-plate photographs, taken between 1890 and 1970 including a large series of photographs that have never been published in the inventory of monuments.
