About
Kenny is a normal eight-year-old boy, in his words, 'a regular kid.' Forced to leave their home as their parents struggle to work out differences, Kenny and his brother, James, each meet a new family--their foster families. Kenny and James are sad that they have to go to different homes, but they get to talk on the phone every night! They talk about their new, cool rooms, their new stepbrothers and stepsisters, and what it might be like to go back to school. Kenny wonders if the kids at school will make fun of him now because he is a foster kid. He is really nervous, but what he discovers isn't so bad! He finds out that he isn't alone and may be more blessed than he realizes. Join author Terre' Southwick, as she shares the story of Kenny: A Foster Child's Story.
