About
This is a interesting and very readable history of one of the earliest churches in Westmoreland County, PA. Dr. Maus was the minister there for many years, and is the first person I remember from the pulpit. My grandparents were members for many decades (J. Howard and Lillian Snyder Lynch), and he conducted the marriage ceremony for my parents (Albert H. and Janet Lynch Rodgers). My grandparents had numerous copies of this book, and I ended up with one. I recommend it to anyone interested in the history of the Irwin/Circleville/Ridge Road area of the county. The cemetery predates the current church, and the inventory provided by Dr. Maus would an be essential resource for anyone interested in local genealogy .
