La violencia en el espacio

The book comprises the results of a unique experience, a remarkable combination of itinerant multimedia exhibition, which, in texts, images and sounds, rescues for the memory of current and future generations, some manifestations of the violence exercised by the last military government, through policies that had as a scenario the urban and territorial space of the country and as main victims the popular sectors. A huge number of collaborators contributed to the success of the Exhibition, which due to its itinerant nature allows to reach different areas of Argentina. Through highly creative communication and visualization techniques, attendees can appreciate in the testimonies, videos, photographs and other devices, some of the effects that the urban and territorial policies of the dictatorship had as a result of its Programs of eradication of "slums", the construction of highways, the creation of "strategic cities", the redesign of public spaces or the construction of sports stadiums for the 1978 World Cup. A set of spatial reorganization measures at various scales and regions of the country, which impacted on the population and irreversibly transformed society.
