About
The book was intended as a brief, layman's guide to cocktails and was produced by myself, as writer, editor and designer together with the illustrator, Leo Duff, while we were students at The Royal College of Art, London, UK. At the time -1978/1979 – cocktails, which had been in and out of fashion since the 1920s, were about to re-emerge as the drink of choice, especially amongst the young. do-it-yourself Cocktails was published as a Royal College of Art Inkling publication Leo had great social contacts from whom she was able to raise financial backing, advice and distribution. Leo and I had a lot of fun doing the research.
