About
Jonathan Hall lost his twin brother when he was three months old. Shortly afterwards, his father left home, never to return, and his mother moved house to give Jonathan a new life. It wasn’t a new life he got—it was someone else’s: someone else’s voice, eyes and mind. At times he seemed to be a different person—fierce, coarse and uncontrolled. For a level-headed, intelligent child of eleven, the fits were terrifying. Jonathan feared he was going mad, as did the psychiatrists. Only Frank Fuller believed differently: that the roots of Jonathan’s troubles lay in his past—in the dead twin brother and in his own special gift.
