The first globalization of the trade world between Mexico and China through the enormous importance and the wealth generated by the commercial and cultural exchange that linked the civilizations of the Eastern Pacific, Europe and the New World during two centuries of colonial dominion in Mexico. The catalogue comprises close to 250 baroque pieces including textiles, ceramics, ivories, paintings, sculptures, altarpieces and navigation objects, from the holdings to the Museo Naval de Madrid, the Museum Franz Mayer and private collections. Exhibition organized in collaboration with the Museo internacional del Barroco in Puebla (Mexico) and the Museo Naval of Madrid. After the exhibition closes in Mexico, it will travel to the Republic of the Philippines.
