"This 4th sculpture symposium along the Latin American sculptors included this year a guest sculptor from Turkey, creating an heterogenic artistic group that ranged from abstract,figurative and conceptual art who worked in monumental pieces (2 to 4 meters) using wood astheir main material. The artist, chosen based on their merits and previous experience with largeformats included: Mauricio Guajardo (Chile 1976), Carlos Guzman (Puerto Rico), CarlosMedina (Venezuela 1953), Fernando Pinto (Colombia 1975), Kemal Tufan (Turkey 1962) andRamon Villalobos "Tijelino" (México 1934).
