김장생(金長生, 1548-1631)이 예禮에 관한 문답을 적은 책이다. 권1 가례도家禮圖ㆍ통례通禮ㆍ종법宗法ㆍ관례冠禮ㆍ혼례婚禮 등, 권2 상례喪禮 전반에 관한 반함飯含ㆍ소대렴小大斂ㆍ장기杖期 등, 권3 상복喪服에 관한 대공大功ㆍ시마緦麻 등과 장법葬法에 관한 허장虛葬ㆍ개장改葬 등, 권4 소상小祥ㆍ대상大祥ㆍ기일忌日ㆍ묘제墓祭 등이 수록되어 있다. 1646년(인조 24) 간행된 4권 4책의 초간본으로, 소장본 『의례문해疑禮問解』[TK 668/8172]의 이본이다. 권두에 김상헌金尙憲의 서문이 빠져 있다.
